The approach

How I think about it

Most of what people ask for as "video" doesn't need a camera at all. It needs motion: an idea built in After Effects or Cinema 4D, not filmed on a set.

When a brief does call for live-action, I shoot it myself, on my own kit, local to London. No crew, no call sheet, no production-company markup. If a job needs more than that, I'll say so upfront rather than quietly subcontracting it.

The edit, the colour, the sound design, the motion, all in-house either way. One conversation, one timeline.

Process

How I work

  1. 01

    Concept

Script, storyboard, and style defined before anything is animated or filmed. Every variable locked upfront.

  2. 02

    Production

Animation and motion built frame by frame. Live-action pieces, when a brief calls for one, are shot solo on my own kit, around London.

  3. 03

    Post-production

Edit, grade, sound design, and motion graphics, all handled internally. One person, start to finish.

  4. 04

    Delivery

Final files in every format you need: broadcast, web, social. Properly exported and ready to use.

Quick answers

Common questions

Mostly I animate and edit. When a brief needs live-action, I shoot it myself, solo, and only within London. I don't crew up for bigger shoots.

A typical short-form animation or edit: 2-4 weeks from brief to delivered cut. Scope grows with length and motion complexity, not crew size.

Yes. Post-production-only engagements, edit, grade, sound design, motion graphics, are some of my favourite work.

Yes, it's the core of this discipline. After Effects, Cinema 4D, and frame-by-frame work as the project needs.

No. Live-action shoots are solo and local. For anything further afield, or that genuinely needs a crew, I'll point you to who does that well rather than take it on.
