The approach

How I think about it

Most agencies sell you a CMS and call the job done. The hard part isn't the build. It's making something your team can use after I hand it over.

I design and build in the same place. No wireframes thrown over a wall to a developer who's never seen the brand. The person designing the page is the person writing the code.

Performance and accessibility aren't features I charge extra for. They're the floor.

Process

How I work

  1. 01

    Scope

I define exactly what gets built, what the success criteria are, and what the timeline looks like. No surprises later.

  2. 02

    Design

I produce high-fidelity designs before writing a line of code. You see exactly what you are getting before I build it.

  3. 03

    Build

I build in-house. No outsourced development, no hand-off chain. The person who designed it builds it.

  4. 04

    Launch

I handle deployment, QA, and any technical setup. You get a fully working site, ready to go live.

Selected work

What I’m putting my name to

apexify.uk, built in-house

Vite, React, Cloudflare Pages. Hand-built front to back. The site is the demo.

More work coming as it ships.

What this isn’t

Work I don’t take on

  • Wix, Squarespace, or page-builder rebuilds dressed up as custom work.
  • Five-page brochure sites that fall over the moment you need to extend them.
  • WordPress themes with a fresh coat of paint.

Quick answers

Common questions

Marketing sites typically run 4-8 weeks. Custom web apps depend entirely on scope. I scope it carefully at discovery so you know before you commit.

Custom code by default, with Webflow for content-heavy sites when it fits the brief. I pick the stack that suits the project, not the stack I want to charge for.

I can. Most clients keep their own hosting accounts. I set up the deployment and hand over the keys.

You either take it over or I keep it running on a retainer. Either way, you own everything.

Yes. I do design and front-end and integrate with whatever back-end your team is already running.
